About SERVICE

The primary focus of SERVICE is to look for opportunities to serve in the community where we live and work and to meet together to worship God and study His Word.

Our biblical focus for this ministry is Hebrews 13:15-16 (NLT):
Therefore, let us offer through Jesus a continual sacrifice of praise to God, proclaiming our allegiance to his name. And don't forget to do good and to share with those in need. These are the sacrifices that please God.

The pillars of the SERVICE missional church are:

• SEND people out to serve the kingdom of God
• EMBRACE the community with loving arms
• RESCUE the lost and hard broken
• VALUE each individual just as God does
• INVITE those who want to know more
• COMMUNITY join the community of God
• EQUIP those who are ready for the next steps

We strive to meet every second week to study God's Word and plan projects. Twice a month we do service projects, these can be small things like picking up garbage in a community, free hot chocolate, or a prayer walk. We also do larger projects like providing gift bags to the women's prison.

We have recently discovered a need in our community for counselling. While we are not professional counsellors, we believe this is a valuable service that we can help by providing grants to support people in getting access to counselling services with counsellors that have a Christian world view. Please reach out by filling out the grant request for counselling and we will reach out to see how we can assist. 

There is no expectation of financial giving, though the opportunity is available by visiting our donation page. Our hope is that you will join us to serve our community with a joyful heart.
